TODD-MEYERS

EDUCATION.

I studied anthropology and public health at the Johns Hopkins University.  Before that I studied painting at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.  In between I spent time in Papua New Guinea as a Peace Corps volunteer.

LIFE.

I live in Montreal and cohabitate with three people––one roughly my size and two others smaller but no less formidable.  Before Montreal, I lived and worked in Shanghai, Detroit, and Baltimore.

WORK. TEACHING.

I am currently the Marjorie Bronfman Chair in Social Studies of Medicine at McGill University.  I teach and supervise students in the Department of Anthropology and the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.  I previously taught at New York University–Shanghai and Wayne State University in Detroit.
